Fashion Revolution Clothing Swap
🌟 Join us for a fabulous clothing swap event as part of Fashion Revolution Week, where sustainable style meets community fun! As a highlight of the Party on the Block, this event promises an evening of fashion-forward excitement and eco-friendly choices.
👗 How It Works: Participants can bring up to 10 items of wearable clothing, shoes, or handbags in good condition to swap. Drop off your items between 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM, then enjoy exploring the neighboring businesses and soaking up the vibrant atmosphere of the block party. Return at 8:30 PM to commence the swapping extravaganza! You can take home as many items as you brought, ensuring a fair and exciting exchange for all.

👚 What to Expect: Bring along your cherished garments that are in need of a little TLC, whether it's a favorite pair of jeans with a hole or a beloved blouse with a loose button. Our expert sewing teachers from The Sewist Society will be on hand to provide materials for patching and sewing, as well as invaluable guidance on how to repair your items with skill and care.
🌱 Loved Clothes Last: At the heart of this workshop is the belief that by taking care of and repairing our clothes, we're not only preserving cherished memories but also contributing to a more sustainable fashion future. Every stitch and patch is a statement against fast fashion and a commitment to reducing waste. Are you ready to strut your stuff and showcase unique style on the runway? The Disco Dolls Studio is thrilled to announce an open casting call for models for our upcoming Fashion & Hair Showcase “Creation & Curation” The purpose of this event is to show the unique individual perspectives of the stylists and designer at The Disco Dolls Studio.
We're on the lookout for individuals who exude confidence, creativity, and charisma to join us for this exciting event.

Requirements:
Any Size: We welcome models of all sizes and body types to audition. Ages 18+
Any Hair Type or Length: Whether you have long locks, a chic pixie cut, or curly coils, we want to see your hair in all its glory.
Open to Hair Changes: Models who are open to cutting or coloring their hair will be given special consideration.
Why You Should Audition:
Unique Opportunity: This is your chance to be a part of an exciting fashion and hair showcase that celebrates individuality and style.
Creative Collaboration: Work alongside talented stylists and designers to bring cutting-edge looks to life.
Inclusive Environment: We celebrate diversity and welcome models from all backgrounds and walks of life.
Compensation: All models receive $100 in store credit, and half off custom designs for 6 months, if selected hair cut and/or color.

Commitment: One rehearsal afternoon (2 hours) Possible Hair cut/color (2+ hours) and day of the event hair and makeup (May 18th 2 hours) show (May 18th 6:30 to 8:30pm)

Sound Salon is a unique platform for musicians, comedians, spoken word artists, and filmmakers to showcase their work. Hosted by Jeremy Gloff, the event offers a space for performer to share their creations, engage in interviews, and connect with the community.
