The Disco Dolls Studio Presents: “Mixed Interminglings” – A Solo Art Show by Christine Millar

TAMPA, FL – The Disco Dolls Studio is proud to announce its latest art exhibition featuring the work of Tampa-based artist Christine Millar, opening Thursday, May 29 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at their Seminole Heights concept shop and gallery.

Millar’s solo show, titled “Mixed Interminglings,” offers an expressive and joyful collection of paintings that explore a range of subjects, mediums, and styles. This diverse body of work reflects the artist’s six-year creative evolution—one rooted in personal transformation, eclecticism, and emotional vibrancy. Her pieces are intended to “fancy an audience and create smiles,” inviting viewers into a colorful world where no subject is off limits.

Attendees of the opening night will enjoy a signature Disco Dolls mocktail punch, light refreshments, and a chance to meet the artist. Millar’s work will remain on display and available for purchase through the end of July 2025.

Christine Millar’s Artist Statement:

“My passion is painting. This passion sprung up as a child but really took root shortly after the birth of my son. He brought so much color and loveliness into my world that I needed a way to express that.

This show is all about variety and journey. From one medium to another, one subject to another, they show a passing of time and transformation in my own personal painting journey. I hope you enjoy and thank you for letting me share.”
