Hi there! I’m Kristine, owner and hairdresser. I am a multifaceted hairstylist driven by a passion for continuous learning and exploration. With a double major in Philosophy and International Studies from the University of South Florida.

Seeking a practical skillset and an exciting career, I pursued my love for hair by attending the Aveda Institute in St. Petersburg. With over 20 years of experience as a stylist, I love finding that crossover where your desired style overlaps with how you live in your hair every day.

As a conscious consumer and business owner, I am constantly researching the latest and greatest in natural hair care, and have introduced many small brands to the Tampa area.

Music keeps me motivated. I make all the playlists in the studio, we work to create an upbeat, inclusive, and welcoming vibe. And I love learning about new music. Check out some of our playlists here:

Astrology keeps me grounded. I have a mini obsession with it, I like to keep up on major transits, and coping tools for how to deal! Another way I stay grounded is getting in the ground. On the weekends, you’ll find me in the garden with my three dogs, headphones on! I’m an animal lover, and I am here for all the fur-baby photos!

Color keeps me inspired. I have a huge passion for color and how it affects our moods, which is where my love for vivid fantasy colors and fabric dyeing originate. As a visual person, whether we're dyeing or cutting your hair, I encourage you to bring all your hair inspiration photos.

Behind the chair, I am here to help. Salons can be intimidating, therefore we strive to create a community feel where you can relax and know you will not be shamed for your hair, hair care, or routine.

I am here to help you fall in love with the hair you have, and help you create a healthy, maintainable style and relationship with that hair. We are a genuine low maintenance gang, and believe that every person truly needs only one or two products.
